The Story of Us
Building a communications strategy can be challenging; we're here to lighten the load off your shoulders. We bring over 30 years of experience working in Public Relations alongside up-to-date skills in Social Media. With a passion and flair for creative writing that is tailor-made to your audience, we really do offer the full package.
Established in 2009 by Katherine Camps Kilgour, Bright Media are lucky enough to have worked on a broad range of campaigns for exceptional clients, working across the board in arts, celebrity, broadcast, restaurants, lifestyle and leisure.
In the world of entertainment, we have worked on a host of accounts including the Take That musical Never Forget, Strictly Come Dancing Live!, Cats and Les Miserables and on theatre projects with Nancy Sinatra, Madonna, Richard E Grant, Woody Harrelson, Felicity Kendall, Zoe Ball, Kevin Spacey and Matthew Perry. Recent theatre work includes the West End residency and national tours of The Barricade Boys, the UK tours of In The Night Garden Live, Bing Live and the West End production of the South African Dance spectacular Inala, featuring the Soweto Gospel Choir. We work throughout the year with Wintershall on The Passion of Jesus in Trafalgar Square as well as their now-famous annual Nativity, featured on Songs of Praise. We have recently worked with Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical originating Producers RGM Productions, and Maria Friedman's Doorstep Productions, managing social media strategy and platforms.
In the classical music arena, we are proud to have represented the BAFTA Award-winning conductor and composer Carl Davis CBE for over ten years on a variety of projects, including Napoleon, Chaplin the Ballet and The Last Train to Tomorrow, last presented at The Roundhouse in the presence of HRH the Prince of Wales. Other clients include the violinists Roman Mints and Lisa Oshima, the pianist Irina Bogdanova and the composer Christopher Gunning.
Lifestyle, Food & Travel
We've also worked with numerous restaurant clients including the London eateries Daphne’s, The Collection, Bam-Bou and Pasha and the members’ bars Abigail’s Party in Soho and Latitude in Chelsea. More recently we have worked with The Oyster Smack Inn, The Soul and Dan Hull Farm Shop in Burnham-on-Crouch. Bright Media also looked after the St Aubyn Estate portfolio including St Michael's Mount, the St Aubyn Estate Holiday cottages and The Godolphin Arms in South West Cornwall.
We are the social media managers for the new app, BanktheFood, designed to help support food banks combat hunger in the UK. We also recently worked with the Make a Difference Trust on their pandemic-relief fundraising activities.
Our in-depth understanding of the media and excellent contacts allow us to break through the noise and achieve maximum results.
